I have a 1979 Mustang, it has the 4 lug 14inch wheels, what other vehicles wheels will fit? I know the LTD2 will fit. Ineed to know right away, i have to pick up a few at the junkyard today. Thanks

I'm guessing Fairmont, Pinto & Bobcat wheels would also work as long as there 14 x 5.5. Might try asking the people at the junkyard.

Hey all.. Well my loving SWMBO has offered to purchase new "big, meaty" tires and wheels for my newly transformed Mustang. I am trying to decide between 15x8 and 16x8 on the front and rear for maximum clearance, traction, and looks.What's the general VMF opinion?

As for tires, I want either Yokohama or Pirelli... Most likely a 255 series 15 or 16" tire...

Also, will Cragar SS wheels clear the calipers? Has my backspacing changed at all? She's buying the stuff from her dad through his discount so I won't be dealing with a Mustang expert. Basically, I have to tell her what size I want and what backspacing and offset it needs to have. So if any VMFer can help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated! Until then, I'm just drivin' around "ricer style" with my black steel wheels showing :O)
