computer problem

Is anyone familiar with the computer pin out and could you tell me if the computer has 12v going out on pins 37 & 57 or is the 12v coming in.
This is for a 88 turbo coupe computer and engine in a 92 ford mustang. Also if I don't have any power on these wires does that mean my computers bad.
thanks
scott

Re: computer problem

Power should be going into the ECU on pins 37 and 57. If you have no power on these, check your EEC Power Relay - either the relay itself is faulty, there is no power to the getting to the relay from the battery (fusible link), or the relay isn't getting a signal from the ignition switch. Grab a circuit diagram for your car and a multimeter - it's time to go hunting!

Re: computer problem

Glad it worked for you - nothing feels better than a cheap fix (!?).
