Does any have any dealings with cetral coast mustang ?
I'm pretty well set on ordering there 340 hp 302 crate motor *2200$* for a beeter motor in my stang while my other 2 projects get underway the 2.5probe montser and the sexy mex 331 .

Just want to make sure this place is cool and does good work

well as long as i keep makin enough$$$
this is the set up .
ultralite i beam rods-not sure what manufacture
ultralite pistons - ^
skimmed heads ported by me
modfied pacesetter headers into true eqaul length long tubes
custom cam grinds
100-200 shot of gas
My own custom manifold

Problem is the mtx sux . I'm pushin around 260 at the crank now , and the damn 2nd gear syncro is going bad . can't imagine waht will happed with 300+ hp.

central coast mustang has a good reputation, but i think the ford crate motors will be the most consistent in quality. they have a short and long block 340hp mild 302 also.

if i was getting a normally aspirated small block non-351 based block, id get a 347 stroker for the extra cubes.

the ford crate motors are nice but cost 1g more ,i'm just lookin for a new motor with decent power ,with a warranty .
I've ordered parts from ccm before and got great cutomer support . But evryone has diffrent dealings with the same company .
