Is this ECU smartlock or non-smartlock?

Does anybody know if this ECU is from a smartlock or non-smartlock V8 falcon?

The numbers on the plug end sticker are 91DA12A650EC, the catch code is 1DEC.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers
Tris

From memory that EEC can be either, and the part number doesnt change. If that is the case then unfortunatly the only real way to find out is to plug it in and see.

Re: Is this ECU smartlock or non-smartlock?

Thanks for your reply. I have an EB1 Falcon (with BAP sensor). Can I plug it into that car without damaging it? Should I unplug the BAP?

Thanks again
Tris

If you want to be 100% safe then just unplug thr BAP, but I cannot see any reason why it cannot just be left pluged in.
