I have a nice long list of mod's for the fairlane, one of which is to replace the standard EECIV, at least the auto's computer with one from an EL GT.
So my question are - How much could I expect to pay for one?
How easy is it to install?
Is it worth doing (Don't shatter my dreams to quickly)?
I do have the intention of getting a tweecerRT when the cash situation improves, but I'd like have a better base EEC to work with first and if it's cheaper than the tweecerRT to start with, even better.

The V8 has a seperate trans computer, all the I6's have the trans computer incorporated in the main ECU. All the EF/EL V8's have the same setup. So if this GT is a six, sorry, can't be done.
cheers
