engine oil - 5W30 vs 10W-30?

elephantEngine Registered User Join Date: Nov 2008 Posts: 1	engine oil - 5W30 vs 10W-30? My 1995 Mustang GT owner's manual specs 10W30 oil for temps above 0 F. My local mechanic just put in 5W40, which is spec'd for below 0, and listed as "acceptable" for below 60 F. Should I make him change it out for 10W30?
