Ok I have all the parts for my rebuild and I'm taking my 289 and making a 347 stroker. I have an Erson Cam with .310I/.325E Lift and 290I/300E Duration. I also have an eagle Crankshaft, High Volume Oil Pump, Dished 347 pistons, New lifters, timing etc. I was looking for opinions on the crank and cam. Also I have a 750 cfm edelbrock carb with rpm-airgap intake. I'm hoping this will make some power, but it is my first time installing a stroker kit.

Are these components chosen from proven engine reciepies or are they just randomly picked?
What heads are you looking at and have they been massaged?
