I have a 96 mustang gt with 100,000 miles plus. I am looking to replace the engine and gain some extra power, but am uncertain with what at this moment. I've been told that a 302 stroked to a 347 would be ideal, but also putting in a new cobra 4v engine would be a little easier. I'm looking for a little advice on this issue and it would be helpful to not spend an arm and a leg. Thanks

if it we're me i'd say just buy a 351, save up a bit more money and stroke it on up to 408.
