Re: engine swap

Did you have any particular engine in mind.

As they came out with a 5.0 from factory then I would expect it should be a good engine to fit.

Re: engine swap

There could be some info in this section.
Use the search button on this page to see if you can find some of the info you are looking for.

I'll see what else I can find.

You can get a kit to put a 460 in the car if you want to. A friend of mine did it but it runs a little hot. I'm not sure where he got the kit.

Re: engine swap

you can put a 351W in the car. that would be the way i would go if i were doing the swap. put a stroked up 351 (stroke it to a 390) get a set of TFS heads and a motorsports X cam and see if that doesnt tickle your fancy.

Re: engine swap

390ci? with TFS heads and motorsports x cam? sure, that would be great, but if you're gonna swap in an engine how about a bennet 408 basic dart short block, add some edelbrock victor jr. 70cc heads, an edelbrock victor ford 5.8L intake and just for fun lets say an ATI Procharger D-1SC supercharger and an intercooler. then maybe a T-56 and a DL 9". wow! you'd be hard pressed to find a car quicker than that on the street.
has anyone ever seen 'servin it up'? how about darius 240z?
check this http://darius240z.com/240z.htm
that is what you would get with the above combo, a car that can outrun an R1 streetbike. hell yeah!
