i have a 1990 mustang conv. and i need to change the fuel relay switch but cannot find it, i was told passenger side front of firewall by one person and next to battery by another, does anyone know, cause i cannot seem to find anything that that looks like a relay. please help me to locate it and describe what it looks like in case it looks different than what i am looking for, thank you so much!

If I remember correctly it would be under the front seat. I can check tonight and make sure unless somebody chimes in before then.

Look down low on the frame rail on the passenger's side, just in front of the strut tower and behind the air filter housing. You'll see two relays. The fuel pump relay is the one towards the rear. It looks like a regular old relay: a black box about the size of a Godiva chocolate.

how about a fuel switch for a 96 mustang? or where the fuel distributer is?

thanks for the help, i found it under the seat, you guys are great!!that would have been the last place i would have ever imagined-HAPPY HOLIDAYS
