Question Fox body bracket car

Im preparing to buy and attempt to build a '87-'93 fox body Mustang for bracket racing and need as much help as I can get. Im hoping to run roughly a 7 to 7.50 1/8th mile to begin with and am wondering what displacement engine and mods to run and also how difficult and involved an engine swap would be, what size rims/tires to run, suspension and all that good stuff. Any help or insight I can get will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

Good choice. Fox bodies are mean machines. You can do 13s in the 1/4 mile with those things BEFORE a power adder of any sort. Light as a feather
