Question have to go auto!!

5.0 stang came with 5spd. bellhousing busted can't find/afford one !! but have numerous auto's, just don't know which flexplate to use ,car is 87 5.0 GT had 157 tooth flywheel , Overlook me somewhat new to questioning over internet ,but old to Fords , Thanks Folks ,cougar190

If it's a 87 5.0 you need a 27 oz imbalance flex plate for what ever trans you are using. AOD, C-4, C-6, FMX, etc.

confused I'm Confused!!!

in a post by kc 21 in {c4 to AOD for 66 coupe} he uses this statement >[Question about the flexplate: Windsore Fox said the 50oz plate was for 81 and up Mustangs, and the 28oz was for pre-81 with 289/305/351 engines] ,please don't misunderstand I'm not saying anyone is wrong , I'm just confused !!! by the way thank you for commenting on this post and the one about (Feel bad about your Project) I have high hopes and low $$$$ I kinda ges that's why I have a lot of what most would call junk , but parts is parts ,again thanks for reading and responding!!! cougar190
