consider a new mustang's engine to be broken in?

I drive mine hard everyday. They say 8000 miles its considered broken in though...I dont belive that mumbo jumbo. Drive it hard every day, ive done it that way with all the car's Ive ever owned. And the only ones that have had engine failure have been a fiero, and a few corolla's that I built my own motors for.
