frown I really need help please (instrumentpanel prob)

There is a prob with my instrumentpanel. Each instrument ( fuel oil temp. ) is pointing the highest level. Does someone know how to solve this prob?

Sounds like a faulty ground &/or CVU (Constant Voltage Unit).The CVU regulates the wattage to the instruments & if faulty can send the guages haywire.It is grounded,along with the instruments,behind the dash.
This Diagram shows you where it is.Try cleaning the instrument panel & CVU grounds first.

I cleaned the hole thing but it still points the highest level. What can I do next? All the wires are correct connected.

Dunno what the voltage output should be, but it is a classic symptom of the constant voltage unit being kaput for your gauges that rely on electrical current to point to the highest level. Any mustang parts supplier would stock, or be able to get, replacement constant voltage unit for the instrument panel.

It's a bimetallic setup & with a fast Volt/Multimeter you should see it oscillate between 5-6 volts.Slower meters should hold about the same.
