Alright, ive been posting alot about my stang stalling and everything. after many trips to my mechanic and dealership and wasting alot of money for changing parts that were the cause of the problem... We've finally figured out what was wrong....

My mass air flow sensors were damaged because of the oil from the K&N filter. I havent had it that long to use the oil it was new.
I had to replace my Mass air flow, has anybody ever heard of this problem?

Yes heard of this before, Its only supose to have a lite mist of oil not be coated with it, ..........

I didnt put any on it... I bought it brand new... and i never went over the milage to clean it or anything....

They do come very heavily oiled from factory and are notorious for dirtying up MAF's, did you try and clean it first or just bin it...

I think 6pac is asking whether or not your tried to clean the MAF before discarding it not whether you cleaned the filter before installing it.

What's the best way to clean the fragile little wire in the MAF?

I recently heard something bad about these filters. I know that the amount of air that can flow through K&N filers is higher than Motorcraft original filter. But what I heard is that filtering fucntionality of K&N filers are lower than Motorcraft that is why they can flow more air. Thus in longterm it gives harm to the engine since it cannot filter as good as Motorcraft filters. It seems logical to me, what do you think? I was planning to buy one but I changed my mind.
