Can anybody tell me what might be wrong with this radio. It doesn't happen all the time but 3 times now since I bought this car I have had unusal noises coming from the rear speakers.
You can hear engine noises. Years ago when this would happen you would put a filter on the antenna to help eliminate this.
I have seen on the internet one person mention an altenator but the noise doesn't come out of the front speakers just the rear. If it was the Altenator causing this then I would think that all the speakers would be effected?
I have also run across the mention of a Fuel Pump that might be causing this.
Has anyone out there expierenced this problem? And, if you have what fix is there for it.

Sounds strange vetteman but the alternator is usually the one that causes a lot of noises in the radio. Funny that it only shows up in the rears no matter what it is that is causing it.
