Couple months ago, I purchased a 08 HG Bullitt (#852) and found it does not have a spare tire. Makes me uncomforable to take any trips, especially into the NC Mountains. I have complained to the Ford Customer Relations who got me into contact with the dealers Parts Manager. The Parts manager advises he can get the Jack, etc and the space saver wheel and cannot find the space saver tire. He advises he has taken this up to Ford service but so far has been unsucessful in finding a tire to go on the wheel.
Has anyone been sucessful in getting a space saver spare from Ford?? He seems truly concerned as he is a Mustang owner himself and agrees that this is a major oversight/issue with Ford. Can anyone point us in the right direction to get the tire. Once that has been resolved, then the real shouting starts regarding who is paying for it, Ford or the Dealer. I see a real fight coming very soon.
