hi folks i just registerd my first day hello to all im hoping ya all can help me my moms 93 mustang is having the cooling fan not shutting off when she turns the car off it keeps running and running lol after a few hours it wasnt hot any more i disconnected the battery can ya all point me in the right direction any one had this happen??? what was it?? thanks in advance .

Sounds like a faulty or sticking relay. Some vehicles have two sending units, one to gauge, one to cooling fan. This may be the problem also.

Since a 93 Mustang did not come from the factory with an electric fan, this will be very hard to answer without knowing what kind of set-up is on the car. The obvious first places to look are the relay and the sender. Since it's all added on, any other information is almost impossible to give.
