Thumbs down Mouse Invasion

I have an issue involving storage of my 2001 Mustang V6, last year , as every year I stored my mustang and apparently a Mouse finally got somewhere in the engine compartment, it smells horrible, mouse urine/nest.

I have looked around the engine compartment for the nest, I did notice shredded tissue on the passenger floor, Any one have any suggestions?

And whats a good remedy for this upcomming seaason?

Re: Mouse Invasion

Or up in the dash area would be my guess. You better have a good look for it as it could have chewed wiring if in the dash and potential fire. If you think it may be in the dash then try to remove the glove compartment and have a look above that. It may even be on top of it.

The only real way for up and coming season is traps or poison that you will need to check on.

A friend had a Nissan 280z ,which was his pride and joy and only taken out on weekends / good days. One morning it wouldn't start and called breakdown service .On lifting bonnet , wires and hoses chewed through . Not sure if it was mice or squirrels .

I'm just glad you didn't find a small block Chevy "mouse motor" under the hood!
