Mustang bumps like crazy

1996 Ford Mustang convertible.
Every time I hit any bump in the roads no matter how small it hits hard. If the road has many slight bumps in a row it feels like it will throw you out of the car.

Original shocks
17" chrome cobra style wheels
Good Year Eagel ZR-45 tries (psi 32)

Nice car but it sounds like the shocks are gone. Has the car been lowered or had any other suspension work done?.

If you replace the shocks then it is worth while spending money on reasonable quality shocks rather than cheapo ones as it can make a huge difference to how the car handles and feels.

Re: Mustang bumps like crazy

Koni's are good and are usually reasonably priced for what you get.

Bilsteins are very good too but tend to be pricey.

Koni have adjustable sets too so you can adjust the damper settimgs a little to suit how you want it to ride.

Post up some brands you are looking at if you like and some members may give feedback on what they think of them. There are so many brands around that many I may not of even heard of.
