Mustang Computer chip?

Hi all,

I reently purchased my 4th Mustang. It is a 2003 Mustang GT. I noticed an authorized Ford Motor Company modification to my engine. it lists part number 3R3A-12A650-DC. I have not been able to discern what this chip does, I'm tempted to call Ford on info for this chip but wanted to ask you guys first since you all seem to know what you are talking about and then some.

I appreciate your help on this.

Re: Mustang Computer chip?

Hi
The number you have posted is a Ford PCM part number. It means that at some point during its life this PCM was either replaced or recalibrated by a Ford dealer.
