Mustang documentary on History Channel

Now showing...

Tue 11/2/03
10:30 pm
The History Channel
Automobiles (60 mins , Rated: G)

The story of the American muscle classic. The stang was introduced at the New York Worlds Fair in 1964 and caused a Beatles-like frenzy in American showrooms. Just three short years later, the one-millionth pony car galloped off the assembly lines.

Worth catching again if you missed it. Check on http://tvguide.ninemsn.com.au/ for repeat times.

I can't believe how bad looking the Mustang was from the late 70's and the 80's.
It was easy to pick where the Australian Falcon got its styling queues from. Especially things like the bonnets, door handles, steering wheels..

Next week the Automobiles show will be on the Ford GT40.
