Hey i'm asking this for a friend so I might not get everything totally right...

My friend has an 89 (i think.. or 88) mustang GT and he got this cool looking cowl (i guess) hood that he said came off a saleen mustang of roughly the same year... he described it over the phone as a "4in double plated scoop hood".. although i'm not sure if thats even a good description.. would a hood from a saleen of roughly the same year go on a GT.. and what would be behind changing it.. i'm thinking its as simple as 'take off the old hood.. put on the saleen hood' ... but I don't want to risk anything and break his hood.... so anyone know?
