Mustang rollup hatchback, tailgate and usable rear seats.

There was some rumor of Ford considering the a Mustang hatchback for 2014.

IMHO, that would be awsome. And while dreaming about it I thought about the perfect hatchback muscle car and it would have 4 new features.

- Rear window rollup, instead of hatch. Full rear hatch window would roll up into roof
- A tailgate like a pickup truck for added cargo
- Rear seats would be very low, far back and lean way back like airplane seats to allow even the tallest person to sit comforatably back there.
- Fold Flat rear seats and the full cargo area would be a hard plastic

Something like this.. using the ford reflex for the depiction.

If Ford does not do it, I hope somebody esle does. I'd really like a RWD, muscle car with open cargo and usable rear seats.

It's just an idea.

That said, rear seating in the Mustang and Camaro just don't make sense. How does a Scion tC get so much more rear seating in a much smaller car?
