Re: The Mustang Survey

New to the site and was wanting to coment on the new Bullitt. Pros: Looks good on the outside, inside and the 373 rear are a plus. Cons: The engine and transmission, FORD YOU MISSED IT.... AGAIN ! This is an American Icon and it should have had a n/a 5.4 with a 6 speed from lets say a 2000 Cobra R. It was rated at 385 hp which was actually around 360 hp at the wheels. It only makes sense the 5.4 and 6 speed fit in the new car well with ac. ( GT 500 is basically the same car with a s/c version of the 5.4 ), the Bullitt is a limited production car anyway so why not give it the power it has earned. As much as I hate to say this but the new challenger and camaro will probably outrun us again.

True. I'm thinking of dropping my GM Visa points on a new camaro. I figure if it rides half decent as it looks then I'll order one and it should arrive within' a year! GM's powertrains are much more improved than they were even five years ago. The mustang is still second on my list
