just bought a 1969 Cobra Jet 428 R code, auto c6, 3.9 traction lock . will be driving her in oct in LA for 1 month b4 i bring her to QLD .

I just restored and now drive a :

1966 Coupe Detroit built
rebuilt 289 V8 new 2bbl carburator
like new C4 transmission
Flowmaster dual exhaust, dumps out infront of rear tires -turn outs
mag rims
new chrome yellow paint
black interior with yellow trim to match paint
3 point front seat belts, rear lap belts
new steroes
Cd player analog AM radio dummy face
brand new everything
lowered front end
rear air shocks

I love the car, really sounds like something, nice lope in the exhaust

I have myself a beautiful 1965 coupe - about to be rebuilt and have been thinking of eventually stroking the 289 to 347

Sorry about the double post here guys, but mhrrs525 can I ask where you put the CD player? the AM radio in the dash of mine is tiny and the glovebox isn't deep enough to fit a CD... just interesterd for future spending.

im in my cobra jet , kick ass car. cant beat drivn a big block even if i have to pay 2.36/ gallon .

I don't know if it is my favorite or not, but it did come out well. I finally completed the V/8 changeover in my daughter's 89LX. I hope you like it. (It only took a week, but I've been waiting for the photo's to be developed.)

I can't call it my favorite, but it's a nice car. I finally completed the V/8 converstion of my daughter's 89LX. It turned out real nice and has plenty of power. (It only took a week to do, but I've been waiting on photo developing) I hope you enjoy it. She surely does.

Foci are ok cars. Can do a lot to them. Like squeeze in a 4.6 SCed cobra engine.

i got my 69 CJ 428 here in Australia and have spent 2 weeks solid rebuilding everything to new or better, i will be driving her for the first time tomorrow since the rebuild
