I have a 96 mustang with a V6 and a auto trans. I want to put in a 5 speed manuel and have a T5 was wondering if this would work or if not what transmission would work.

It'll work fine, just make sure you have a V6 bellhousing. You'll also need the manual pedal assembly, clutch cable, flywheel, and clutch assembly. You should try to locate a 5spd driveshaft while you're at it, as I believe they're slightly longer.

If you change automatic to manual transmission, my opinion is that put some else transmission that T5. Maybe T45 or T56

Whoa! I did not know you could do that. How much does it usually cost to do something like that?

Don't waste your time on a T45 or a T56 on a V6 Mustang. The 6 will never produce enough power to snap a T5 unless you run forced induction.
