I started my 2000 Mustang up the other day, and noticed that is was missing really bad. The service engine light flashed 25 times. I know that is the computer telling me a diagnostic code. I took it down to the local auto parts store to put it on the diagnostic reader, and he said that since it stopped flashing the diagnostic reader could not tell me what the problem was. It still misses, but the light has stopped flashing. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be? I have looked at everything and I can't figure it out.

If you have the all plastic intake manifold take it to a dealer and have them swap in the revised version that uses the aluminum coolant crossover on the front. It should be covered under a factory recall. Look into it.
