Okay, little back story to this.
I am an American, working in Kuwait.

What I am about to get, for $375, is a 95 Mustang GTS 5.0

It has a spun bearing in it.

Needs a new motor

Now, I am having a problem finding a motor from either the 95 and older years. I have found a 5.0 from a 2000 Explorer (thats what they said, I didn't think the 5.0 was still with Ford)

Will this work with the mustang? I know that the accessories, heads, oil pan, and intake manifold will need to come off the original motor.

My question is going to be, will it be work while, or should I just not get the mustang?

Any input would be great. And its ok if I don't get one here. Cuz when I come back to the states I will get one then.

This motor could be used, and if anything the heads and intake are an upgrade. You will need the '95 electronics and ignition system - unless you want to ditch stock electronics altogether.

You will also have to keep your intake manifold and exhaust manifolds.Oil pan and pickup tube will also be needed to be switched . Just unhook the wiring from the engine block and plug back in to the new engine.Keep your old wiring harness.
