Old 302 to Roller Conversion?
Hi, I have a older style 302 with a comp cam and flat hydrolic lifters. Long story short the lifters are about a 1/4 inch shorter than they used to be and the cam is wiped out as well. I have seen the lifters and hold downs for the newer roller engines for sale and they say you can bolt them to a old block with the new style roller lifters. Is there more to it than that? I was looking at getting the Z303 cam if the conversion works out to be on the cheap side.
