possible piston combinations

Hi, Im totally new to the ford scene and I have an off the wall question, I was wondering if the pistons from a 3.8l turbo gn would fit into a 3.8l ford na engine. Don't mean to offend anyone just want know if there are other possible piston combinations that would fit a '99 3.8l engine. I would like to boost the engine also. Thanks in advance. Sorry about the noobie question.

Re: possible piston combinations

Im not certain about other piston combinations but I'm sure it will not be hard to get pistons with the correct compression ratio for your needs from an engine shop. If you plan to boost it then you will need to look at a lower compression ratio than your NA and you will need to know what sort of boost pressures you plan to run so you can get suitable pistons.

You are certainly not offending anyone with your questions and welcome to the forums.
