My 2006 Mustang thinks that the passenger side door is not fully closed. The door ajar warning light is always on and the window will not close all the way up. The wind noise and rain is driving me nuts!
The door closes solidly, and locks securely. The window does the full auto open and close, except it doesn't ever go all the way up. I did the window motor regulator reset trick, but that didn't work. Probably because there is nothing wrong with the motor regulator, it just thinks the door isn't closed.
Most of the cases with that happening on the older ones, (I haven't dealt with the newer ones), it was the switch on the door latch. They probably are the same type.
