Question about floor pans...

Okay, as I stated in an earlier post, I am planning on welding in new frame rails... and, of course, if rust is bad enough to have to replace most of the frame rails, the floor pans are shot too!

So I've been shopping around on the net for a deal, and I think I may have found it. I can't supply a direct link, but follow these directions:

- Go to http://www.parts123.com/PartFrame.as...angs_Unlimited

- Search for "floor pans".

- Parts 1078R/L are only $54.95 each, whereas parts A107L/R108 are $69.95 each!

This is a sweet deal; I'd be saving $30 on floor pans. I am a bit worried about the price difference, though. I don't know if Mustangs Unlimited has a good rep or not, so I don't know if I should get these. The cheaper ones don't say anything but "maufactured overseas." I was originally going to order from RestoreMustangs.com for like $65.96 a pop.

I'm not sure if I want to risk quality to save some money, or if I should spend the extra $30 for a sure thing. What do y'all think?

I can't say that this would be the case but I know of Mustangers that have purchased the cheaper overseas (in this instance i think made in Korea)body panels and have spent more than the origanal difference in price to get the panels to fit correctly and then have still ended up with something inferior.I would spend the extra $30.00.

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking about spending the extra and going with the sure thing, but I just needed a voice to convince me.

No probs. I don't think you will regret doing a decent job on the stang.
