i just got my first mustang two months ago a 86 coupe 2.3 auto trans. bought my first car in 1964 so it's been a while. now looking at some mustang custom parts catalogs it looks like the that the 86 mustang is the red headed step child of the mustangs. just kidding guys and gals. they have parts for 60's to 85 then 87 up that just me or has others have the same dilemma when looking at restoration / custom parts ? not that i have bought any yet. i noticed this with body , brakes, above or below 86's no i'm not complaining at all just seems that way. not like my 86 is any thing special. needs some work well a lot of work not going to be a show car just a daily driver. all i want is a 25 foot car. don't look too bad from 25 foot away.
