I have a 2002 GT Convertible. The passenger side seat belt sticks and takes some time and some gentle pulling to come out. What can be done to fix it? Does it need to be replaced?
I'd pull the pane around it and see if the belt got twisted. If not, you'll need to get another one. You can search for a used one here: Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market
There was a TSB on Escape seat belts.
Maybe the TSB applies to your Mustang as well.
My 2002 Escape seat belts don't work right.
My wife's 2004 Honda Element seat belts still function like new.
Thanks for the info. I checked and there are TSBs for retraction problems, but my problem is that the seat belt doesn't pull out. I will keep reading. Thanks!
