speedometer slow after trans swap - 94gt

larry94conv Registered User Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 1	speedometer slow after trans swap - 94gt I swapped out the auto trans on my 94 gt with what was supposed to be one out of another 94 or 95. Now the speedo is about 6 mph slower. What would cause this and how do you change it. I do know that 94's have 17" wheels and 95's have 16" wheels. Could this be the cause or would it be that the trans came out of a car with a different rearend gear ratio?
