Ok, talk to me about my options in replacing this 3 speed stick in my 67 GT. I was planning on going with a 5speed, but have herd that they are way heavy and i should consider a 4speed. If this was your 67 waht would you do?

Well, I really like my 4-speed. Doesn't really make for much of a commuter car, but then again that isn't why I bought it. I really don't care for 3 speeds, seems almost like a waste of a stickshift. I have seen a lot of 5-speed swaps, and I don't feel weight is an issue. If anything, they are probably lighter than the old toploaders, but I might be wrong there.

4speed toploaders are great!!! Can't hardly kill em. That would probably be your easiest swap. The 5 speeds can get $$$$$. I really like my toploader, but would go for a 3.55 gear instead of the 3.89 I have in it now.
