i have a 97 mustang gt 4.6 with 157,000 miles on it and it's got a problem where the engine is stumbling if i give it too much throttle. i've looked in my chilton's manual and it says it's either the ignition or fuel system. i've just put new plugs, coil packs, fuel filter and fuel pump on it not too long ago. so what my problem?

I would try fuel injector cleaner, @ least 2 tanks worth and change the air filter.

Try your TPS "Throttle Posisiton Sensor". But if its missing on one piston check your spark plugs, and your spark plug wires. Take out each plug and replace them while you have them out. I used to be a true beliver in Bosch products until I had a platinum +4 blow off in my race car.

I've tried the fuel injector cleaner and it brought the power back up to normal. and I've replaced both plugs and wires and the problem is gone.

Figured it out, Head gasket leak. Problem fixed
