hi i have a 95 mustang 3.8 5 speed i just had a new clutch put in it. i got it two weeks ago and ever since i got it it grinds when i would put it in second. so one day when i put it in i taped the shifter a couple times and when i let off the clutch no grind and that always works now but for some reason it wont do it without the tap. it even grind when i do a double clutch on less i tap it a few time before i let the clutch out thanks for any help.

Sounds like it may be out of adjustment. I would surely talk to the shop that did the work for you.

well it did it before i put the clutch in it i was thinking the motor or tranny mount because if the synchros were bad i should be able to double clutch.(or so i think)

How are you tapping it? Do you put it in neutral and tap it towards 2nd and then it goes in?

when its in first or third and im going to second i push the clutch in move it to second and then tap it like when your kicking some tunes and let the clutch out and its in that easy

That's probably the 2nd gear synchro. The trans will have to come out.
