Re: Wtb mustang

88-93 gt best bang for the buck you can find one from $1500-$3800, in good shape ,and you can do a lot to em,many add ons made for this car,i like to see young guys going for classic american muscle , instaed of the kazzoo sounding hondas or imports ,5.0 mustang is a 302 v8,
look at e-bay motors on e-bay to see many cars ,parts cars or just parts
i own a 1990 gt 5.0 hardtop & love it ,dont want to sell it ,wish i had the money to give her a total makeover, these cars are going to be the next collectors

Re: Wtb mustang

Welcome to the site. There were many great Mustangs from 79-93, the early 79 pace cars are a nice choice, the early Mustang Cobras were nice too. The t-top cars are a great car to restore.

If you looking for a fuel injected Mustang in 86 (the four eyed era) Ford started putting the EFI set up on the cars.

There are so many cool choices, what ever you get restore it and keep it nice. These cars are fairly inexpensive to put together.

Re: Wtb mustang

welcome to the site man, i'm 17 and last november i bought a 1999 35th anniversary limited edtion mustang GT convertible for 5,900 bucks. it had 116,574 miles on it when i bought it but it looks better than any other mustang on the road. like a lot of people may tell you any mustang from 87-93 with the 5.0 in it is the best bang for your buck. if you have an 8 grand limit try into finding a 99-04 GT. look on your local area craigslist. that is how i found my mustang and my 2001 F150 supercrew with the same motor as my stang and its almost as fast as it too LOL. but yeah check out craigslist and also i hope you or your parents have a good paying job because insurance on a GT for a 16 year old isn't gonna be cheap. your looking at over 4 grand a year! i would try and go for a V6 or a F150 with a V8. if you don't like that then find a F250 with the 7.3L in it for a good deal. that will last you till your a senior in college if you take care of it
