The wagon's are a great buy, especially as they're no longer available. 91K isn't very high, and as long as everything works, and the owner can give you paper records with previous maintenance then it should be a good vehicle for a few years before any major problems. If it has the 2.0 TPI 2valve engine, it's a lower output (115hp vs the Zetec 130hp), but is less complex in design and is fairly cost effective should anything go wrong.
Again, be sure to take it on a thorough test drive. Drive on gravel roads, paved roads and dirt roads to make sure nothing rattles (mostly suspension). Check that all fluids aren't jet black, including brake and power steering fluid.
