I have a 2002 Ford Focus SE VIN P. I got new tire at tireplus last week and the technician told me i need sway bar links. I want to know if anyone can show me a picture where the Sway bar links are on 2002 Ford Focus SE VIN P so i can replace and what auto part store is the the best to buy the Sway bar Links at.
BTW, I know the link says my make and model, but from 2000 to 2004, they all used the same sway bar end-links up front.
And there is no kit, you just buy two arms, one for each side. When you go to Advance auto parts, they call it a kit, but the end-link looks exactly like the one in the link.
Only if you think there worn? At 134k though, I wouldn't be surprised if they were worn.
You will know when you take the endlinks off, and move the sway bar by hand, but while you do, look at the bushing to see if there is a lot of movement.
ya i will look at the bushing when i replace the links but idk if i will the bushing and the sway bar links at the same time idk if i will have the money for both right now. i will get the links for now i think.
