Rear piston doesn't seem to want to get pushed back into caliper so new pads can fit in. Is there a trick I'm missing on this ? Also do you just use needle nose plyers to compress those little springs on the pads to lock them into the calipers? Thanks G
Are you using a wind-back tool for the pistons? Because it's nigh-on impossible without; available from motor factors. Just sit the pads in the carrier and when the caliper goes back on and is retightened everything will self-right.
Hey, thank you. I played with them a little this morning and got them to back down. Put Channel jock pliers on the piston and turned it a few times then put my normal tool on to push the piston back in. All went well and they turned slowly as I screwed them back into the caliper. G
