Although we're expecting big changes for the Ford Focus in 2005, the Focus is scheduled to undergo a freshening for the 2004 model year. A new front fascia including a new and more shapely grille, front bumper and headlamps is expected to round out the changes.
And by the looks of the camouflage - some minor changes in the back are also anticipated.

Considering that bumper bar hidden under the bra, I am odds on to say that it's a US photo, just because of the rule that makes Ford put those filthy ugly 5km/h bumpers on the front and back, ruining the lines of the Euro version. Shame really, the Euro version is so damn sexy and that US version just looks like a regurgitated dog's breakfast.

The ST170 compared to the SVT there's a huge difference. The ST is so much more compact, sporty and Euro whereas the SVT looks more like an aftermarket job... altho it still isn't too bad!
