Ok, so according to the book, Ford & my mechanic my ford focus has a FOREVER airfilter??? what the &^%$ is that????????? I am not sure I feel comfortable with an airfilter I never have to change.....and to be perfectly frank I do NOT trust FORD at all..............no matter what they say. Does anyone else have this NEVER change air filter????

On page 209 of the owners manual, it shows that it is a lifetime filter. There's an "Air filter service minder" that tells if it needs replacement. That's the first I've known about it too.

Yeah I looked at that page...they don't bother to tell u where tyhis so called"air filter service reminder" is located????????????????????????

The filter is supposed to be good for 150,000 miles. The cost of a new one is $383.00 with a discount. Hopefuly the price goes down before you need one.

Hopefully will not own this car at that mileage..bought it BRAND NEW....and had to replace the automatic transmission at 23,000 at the cost of 3800$. I despise FORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
