2005 Ford Focus Power issue

Hey everyone,
My 2005 Ford Focus keeps losing power while I drive it, the dash board lights will flicker, and so will my head lights, my radio will cut in and out and while I'm driving the car will slow down. When I pull over and turn it off, wait for a few minutes then start it back up the car will go back to normal with the clock resetting itself and the radio on again... It only happens on hotter days or if I drive it a lot during the week. I took it to a local shop and they said it could be the battery and alternator so I got brand new of both but it still keeps on doing it. Can someone give me a hand with this?

Thanks :)

Check your power relay. Make sure your connections are tight and you don't have any heat stress.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?

Check all earths /grounds , especially from engine to body .Test new alternator output with a meter and if needed check new battery condition also .
