1 out of 7 (or so) times the car take a few seconds to start, every time other than that it starts perfectly. Brand new battery didn't fix the issue, any idea guys? No codes thrown.
Cranks, starts, and idles great each time. But that 1 random time, it takes 4-5 seconds for it to catch. When this happens, notice it idles at 2k RPM and then slowly goes down to the normal ~1k RPM idle.
Negative. I'm trying to isolate why the one random time happens. When that does happen, it cranks for five seconds then starts. Other than that one time, it always cranks and starts immediately like a normal car should.
Had the same problem on my D23, Sometimes it would take a extra 3 seconds to actually start, it would turn over probably 5-8 times before starting, never did figure that one out before the car got totaled.
And I'm not 100% sure Bert, but does the focus have a fuel return line?
