I recently ghetto-rigged myself a SRI on my '08 Focus by just replacing the stock box with a modified MAF sensor adapter, a cone filter and more silicone than I care to admit.

I've been researching CAI kits online though and there doesn't seem to be much in the way of options. The only kit I've found so far is a SRI by K&N and the picture it gives doesn't even look like it has all the holes I need for my vacuum hoses.

I was thinking about making my own CAI out of PVC pipe (it can and has been done), but I'd really prefer an actual kit (it would look and more than likely perform a lot better as well).

Anybody out there have any ideas on this and/or any other modifications I can make to the engine to get the most out of my car?

Well I see you have checked out the performance section, and you will have to find a SRI or CAI for your specific make and model, and it will have all the right hook-up's.


I would suggest checking out FSWERKS.com, or Central Florida Motorsports, or even andysmotorsports.com sells SRI and CRI's. These< are very good companies. Even Topspeed.com

Or...... even check out E-bay or Amazon, just read what you are buying, and always use pay-pal when dealing with these two.
