2010 bad smell of freon.

2010 bad smell of freon in car when you run the fan for heat and the A/C is not working now. I figure the evaporator sprong a leak. How the heck do i remove the heater box to get it out and replace it??

LOL. My app doesn't say what section it's from. If it a focus the dash has to come out first. Then the heater assy. Then separate the boxes an disassemble the evaporator box.

Not sure what you're smelling, but 134A is odorless, unless it's burnt or carrying a heavy oil charge.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?
