2013 Focus Trunk Lights

Hi all I am new to the forum and have a question. Does anyone know how to disable the trunk lights please? My hobby requires the trunk to be open for long periods and I don't want the battery to run down.
Thanks
John

Usually works off the trunk lock through a micro switch , but rather than strip down to disconnect , remove bulbs ? Could check owners handbook / manual and see if it is cover by a fuse that doesn't affect anything else needed .

Thanks for the quick reply, good idea, I will try to remove the bulbs and store them away safely.

And thanks for the welcome

Other option, if the wiring is easily accessible, install an in-line manual switch.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?
